Lets face it. In the real world, there is always a kink in the smoothness of life. I planned the best program for my running, swimming and working-out in the gym when out of nowhere, something happened and everything spiraled out of control. The start of my week was fine, I was able to run Tuesday around 6-7 miles with my new running shoes without any pain or discomfort. The following day (Wednesday) I planned to swim. I don't know how I ended up getting into a political forum on the Internet and next thing it was already midnight. Not contented, I decided, out of the blue, to tinker with computer programming called Cloud (at Amazon). It was finally 4 am when I realized I had to sleep. I had only 2 home health patients the following day (Thursday) but I discovered I haven't updated my paperwork. I was hoping to swim this day but the lack of sleep and paperwork fatigued me so much. So, the only solution I could think of was a sleep recovery. So two days passed without training all because I got involved in a most useless political debate in a forum on the Internet. And I did not gain anything out of that debate.
Today, after recovering, I finally got the chance to run 6 miles. Oh well, I can probably make it all up for the rest of the week. I need to really focus on discipline and self-control.
Oh, I have another good excuse: The weather sucks.
